Calpe is attending the 3rd Bologna Cycle Tourism Fair to be held from 5 to 7 April with the aim of promoting itself as a destination for the practice of this sport. This fair is the first event in Italy entirely dedicated to travel and cycling enthusiasts.

The Mayoress of Calpe, Ana Sala, and the councillors for Tourism Planning, Mireia Ripoll, and International Promotion, Marco Bittner, attended yesterday the inauguration of the new Easy Jet base at Alicante-Elche airport.
The National Statistics Institute has informed Calpe Town Council that its proposed population figure for the municipality as of 1 January 2024 is 26,821 inhabitants, 967 more than the previous year. A period of allegations is now open, and if no allegations are made, the INE's proposal will be officially approved.

Calp Town Council, through the Department of Culture, is organising for the first time the Calp Piano Festival, an event that will feature renowned pianists from the international scene as well as promising new pianists.
The mayoress of Calp, Ana Sala, and the councillors of Town Planning, Juan Manuel del Pino, and Traffic and Road Safety, Guillermo Sendra, held a technical meeting yesterday at the Provincial Road Service of the Ministry of Transport to discuss the construction of the footbridge over the N332 and the improvement of access to Maryvilla.
Calp Town Council has decided to carry out the necessary repairs to the pumping system of the footbaths at La Fossa beach. This has been made known through a letter signed by the mayoress Ana Sala, which has been sent to Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, the competent body in this matter.
