Calpe participates from today in the "Fiets en Wandelbeurs" in Utrecht, the most consolidated end public fair for Cycling and Hiking in the Netherlands. Its radius of action covers the Benelux and parts of Germany and France, receiving in its 2023 edition more than 26,000 visitors from these areas.
The Department of Equality headed by Councillor Itziar Doval today presented the programme of events organised to commemorate International Women's Day.
The Department of Culture has already published the rules for the 4th Street Decoration Contest in the Historic Centre as part of the 8th edition of Art al Carrer 2024. This year the theme of the Contest is "Fishermen´ Calpe", with this project is added to the commemoration of the centenary of the Fishermen's Guild.
The increase is due, among other reasons, to a higher number of complaints.
Friday, 23rd:
Calpe Town Council has begun to install new street furniture and replace elements in poor condition. To do so, it has invested a total of 150,451.63 euros, the largest amount in recent years.
The Mayoress Ana Sala, together with the Councillor for Public Safety, Guillermo Sendra and the Intendant of the Local Police, Juan Sanchez, yesterday afternoon inaugurated the training sessions on the qualification and detection of drugs in drivers, which will be held throughout the week at the Casa de Cultura in Calpe.
Calpe Town Council is organising a theatre campaign aimed at the municipality's schools to encourage creativity in Calpe's pupils. The campaign will take place between 21st and 23rd February in the Municipal Auditorium and consists of a play each day.
