The model presented by the sculptor Juan Francisco Martínez Gómez from Albacete has been selected as the best work of the I Villa de Calpe 2024 Sculpture Competition.
Calpe Town Council has joined the Smoke-free Beaches Network of the Regional Ministry of Health, with the aim of creating smoke-free spaces on the beaches of Arenal-Bol, La Fossa and Cantal Roig, and thus promote a healthier and cleaner environment.
Friday, 31st:
With the aim of reinforcing tourist information services and improving visitor service, Calpe is once again installing two tourist information points on the beaches.
The lifeguard and lifeguard service on Calpe's beaches, provided by the concessionary company Eulen, starts the summer season on Saturday. From 1 June, the lifeguard and lifeguard service will be provided daily on the beaches.

Calpe Town Council has joined the iniciativa#MiPuebloSinBasuraleza of the LIBERA Project, of SEO/BirdLife in alliance with Ecoembes, which aims to raise awareness in society to value the villages and their natural environments and keep them free of litter.
