The Regional Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Trade and Tourism has informed Calpe Town Council that it has declared the Calpe Easter Week to be a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest of the Valencian Community. This distinction recognises the originality and popular tradition of these celebrations, as well as their ability to attract visitors.

The Town Council has set up a multidisciplinary technical and political working committee to study the housing situation in Calpe, the aim is to analyse the different solutions within the municipal framework of competence, to determine solutions and actions aimed at achieving the objective of affordable and decent housing.

The pumping system for the footbaths on Calpe's La Fossa beach is still out of order while waiting for Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, the body responsible for this infrastructure, to award the maintenance service and carry out the repairs.

Calpe Town Council is once again launching the grants for the rehabilitation of façades on buildings in the municipality. There are two lines of aid for which 70,000 euros have been earmarked and which can be applied for until 16 September.

Calpe Town Council has joined the Smoke-free Beaches Network of the Regional Ministry of Health, with the aim of creating smoke-free spaces on the beaches of Arenal-Bol, La Fossa and Cantal Roig, and thus promote a healthier and cleaner environment.
