The lifeguard and lifeguard service on Calpe's beaches, provided by the concessionary company Eulen, starts the summer season on Saturday. From 1 June, the lifeguard and lifeguard service will be provided daily on the beaches.

The uncontrolled deposit of prunings has become in recent years a problem in the cleaning of the municipality, so Acciona within the new contract for cleaning service and MSW collection has established a new map indicating the areas and days for the collection of prunings.
Calpe Town Council has joined the iniciativa#MiPuebloSinBasuraleza of the LIBERA Project, of SEO/BirdLife in alliance with Ecoembes, which aims to raise awareness in society to value the villages and their natural environments and keep them free of litter.
