The group consists of four members: a violinist (Mabel Arribas), an oboist (Germán Moya), a pianist (Juanjo Teruel) and a horn player (Antonio Pujol). All of them are renowned musicians, conservatory teachers and members of the Orihuela Symphony Orchestra.
“Camerata Antigua” is a group formed more than 20 years ago with extensive concert experience. Its repertoire covers all kinds of themes: children's music, jazz, musicals, pop, film and, of course, classical music.
The repertoire to be performed includes, among other works, classical pieces by great composers such as J. S. Bach, W. A. Mozart, G. F. Haendl, etc.:
‘Lascia ch'io pianga’ by Handel, ‘Ave Verum’ by Mozart, ‘A clare benediction’ by J. Rutter, ‘Air from Suite No. 3’ by Bach, various ‘Ave Maria’ (Caccini, Schubert, William, etc.),
Bach's ‘Bist du bei mir’, Handel's ‘Ombra mai fu’, Pietro Mascagni's ‘Lento from Cavalleria rusticana’, etc.
